The current classes are built around the idea

from scripture that exemplify the life in the Kingdom.

ABHOR
“Abhor that which is evil.”
Obviously we are not supposed to “hate” anyone.
Yet, we are instructed by Paul to abhor evil. That is
to push evil away from us. Notice, WE are to PUSH
evil away. The Holy Spirit will reveal to us all evil
and will empower us to push it away. The initiative
MUST BEGIN WITH US.
We can not successfully overcome evil by just waiting
on Christ to rescue us. The Spirit will move in us and
through us IF WE YIELD OURSELVES TO HIM.

ADMONISHERS
“…Admonishing one another in psalms and
hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace
in your heart to the Lord.” The Gospel calls
us “to warn” each other or “call to mind” in
each other the “new man.” The new man is the
person we are all called to be in the Kingdom,
having laid aside or “mortified” (killed)
uncleanliness, unholiness, or any other thing
associated with the life of sin. We are to call
to mind in our fellow Christians that our hearts
should be filled with charity, love, grace,
kindness, meekness, longsuffering, etc., that
were characteristics of our Lord Jesus Christ.
